Elco, the manufacturer of electric inboard and outboard motors, is celebrating its 130th anniversary by partnering with Nautical Ventures, Rocket Trailers, and Whaly Boats USA to share the joys of electric boating. At the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), one lucky attendee will win a boat, motor, and trailer combination in the EcoBoat Sweepstakes. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida event runs October 25–29.
The robust 12′ 2″ Whaly 370 is ideal for use as a tender, lightweight fishing boat or six-passenger picknicker. Powered by an Elco EP-20TL with 10kWh lithium batteries, the 20-hp motor will deliver 390 lbs. of thrust. When not in use, the boat will sit atop a premium aluminum Rocket Trailer. The package has a retail value of $20,850.
